There’s something exciting—almost a little giddy—about walking into a room where possibility is real.

Imagine spending an afternoon meeting 20 like-minded Seventh-day Adventist singles—each one sharing your faith, your values, and your desire for a meaningful, long-term connection. No guessing. No awkward uncertainty. Just a thoughtfully designed, intentional experience where conversation flows naturally and respectfully.

This is Intentional Speed Dating—a faith-centered event created to help Adventist singles connect in a way that feels structured, comfortable, and pressure-free.

Why This Is Different

What better way to meet multiple potential matches in just a few hours—without the pressure of traditional dating?

• You’ll meet each participant one-on-one in a brief, relaxed conversation
• There’s no pressure to impress everyone—just be yourself
• You’ll only be connected afterward if there is mutual interest
• Everyone attending is there for the same reason: a genuine, Christ-centered connection

What to Expect

• Upon arrival, you’ll check in and receive your nametag and match card
• The event will be organized into two separate age-based groups
  (You may only register for one group)
• Men and women will meet in a structured rotation:
• • Women remain seated
  • Men rotate every 4–5 minutes
• After each conversation, you’ll mark:
• • Yes
  • Maybe
  • No
• Matches are not revealed at the event
• If interest is mutual, you’ll be connected privately the following week

Halfway through, there will be a short break—and before you know it, you’ll have met everyone in your group.

After the Event

Once the rounds are complete, stay and enjoy a relaxed mixer with light refreshments and beverages—a chance to unwind, reflect, and enjoy fellowship in a comfortable setting.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, you must:

• Be a baptized Seventh-day Adventist
• Be single, legally divorced, or widowed
• Be serious about pursuing a long-term relationship

• Do not be late — late arrivals will not be admitted once the event begins
• There will be separate entrances for men and women — please follow posted signs
• Dress to impress — come polished, confident, and event-ready
• Plan to stay for the full duration of the event

Hotel Suggestions for Out-of-Town Guests
The event will be held at Mountain View Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1425 S. Springer Rd, Mountain View, CA 94040. Nearby hotel options include Hotel Vue, Hotel Strata, Aloft Mountain View, Hampton Inn & Suites Mountain View, The Ameswell Hotel, Hyatt Centric Mountain View, and Shashi Hotel. Most are approximately 5–15 minutes from the church by car, depending on traffic.

For flights, San José Mineta International Airport is usually the most convenient airport, about 11 miles from Mountain View. San Francisco International Airport is also an option, about 26 miles away.

For meals before or after the event, guests may enjoy Downtown Mountain View/Castro Street, a walkable dining district with restaurants, cafes, shops, and transit access.
