Brianna McCabe and Inspired Girl Enterprises is partnering with The Seafarer Bar in Highlands, NJ, to present the second annual “Blindfolded Speed Dating” event. Get ready to find your true heart-to-heart connection ? similar to Netflix's "Love is Blind" — but with a twist.

What do you mean blindfolded?

Literally, blindfolded!

Upon check-in, guests will be given a blindfold and assigned a number along with two poker chips and a name tag with their corresponding number on it.

The females will then be seated at an individual “station” and be instructed to put their blindfolds on. Then, each blindfolded man (along with their designated “helper”) will maneuver through the stations where the females will be seated and chat to their prospective “match” for two minutes.

During each round, Brianna will guide the conversation between attendees by presenting unique questions to get the conversations started ?

If one of the guests feel a connection, the participant will be instructed to leave their poker chip at the station for the other participant to receive.

At the end of the event, each guest will tell Brianna which poker chips, if any, they have received. The team will then identify potential matches.

If there are several matches, those pairs will proceed to play a game inspired by Brianna’s book, “The Red Flags I’ve (Repeatedly) Ignored.”

The winning couple will receive a gift card for a subsequent date night at The Seafarer.

And who knows… this could lead to a fling, forever thing or even a newfound friendship. There’s no pressure!

Who should sign up?

Anyone who is looking for love out by the Jersey Shore and is within the age range of 28 - 36.

What’s the criteria for the participants?

• Males and females looking for a heterosexual relationship.
• Within the ages of 28 to 36.

NOTE: We will potentially open up to other groups (including age, sexual preferences, etc.) in the future.

Is there a cost?

$30 per person, which will include a drink ticket for one free drink at The Seafarer prior to the start of the event. *Must bring a valid ID.

Are spots limited?

There will be 15 spots available for females and 15 spots available for males.

If spots have filled up and you’re still interested, there are still some options available:

• Come to The Seafarer anyway and see how this all pans out!

When and where is this taking place?

The Seafarer Bar located at 1 Atlantic Street in Highlands, NJ on Thursday, July 6 from 7 - 8:30 pm.

Attendees are to arrive no later than 6:30 pm for check-in.

Anything else I should know?

• Purchases are nonrefundable.
• Additional events for other age ranges and sexual preference(s) may open up in the future depending on feedback from those who aren’t eligible for this particular blindfolded speed dating event.
• By registering for this event, you are consenting to photo and videos being taken of you.
• Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm for check-in. If you arrive past 6:30, you are forfeiting your spot in the event and your ticket will not be refunded.
• The Seafarer is an outdoor bar near the water. This event will take place under a tented section; however, please dress accordingly and bring an extra layer for when the sun goes down (it can get chilly at night!).
• The only circumstance in which the event will not take place is if there’s inclement weather. Under those conditions, tickets will be fully refunded.
